Community Grants

Our Annual Fundraiser Supports Grants to Local Community Organizations that Share Zonta’s Mission

UNIDOS, a Zonta Madison Community Grant Beneficiary

Zonta Madison carefully selects every program we support to be effective in empowering women  and girls. The organizations must have 501(c)3 status. Application for project grants is by invitation only from the Zonta Madison Foundation. Club members also often provide hands-on service to the organizations we fund, adding valuable professional woman-power to the financial resources we are able to provide.

Two thirds of our net fundraising profits go to local causes while the remaining one third supports Zonta International projects. We have funded local projects at Domestic Abuse Intervention Services, Felicia’s Donation Closet,  The Road Home, Girls on the Run, Project Respect,  UNIDOS WI, Maydm, Dane County RCC Sexual Violence Resource Center, the WI Alliance for Women’s Health, BriarPatch, and Positive Women for Change,
